This is a set of two separate, interchangeable products: a 3D pen and an external drive unit. The set price includes both, configured and ready to use. Each is also available separately as a standalone product.

Co-LAB is the collaborative configuration of the EDUstick® line: a 3D pen with its external drive unit, set up as one working tool. Both parts also exist as standalone products, so a single damaged element never retires the set. Ask us for the full bill of materials for your programme.

Safety and certification

Safety is critical in an educational environment, so EDUstick® Co-LAB is designed in accordance with strict safety standards for products intended for children and young people. The set comes with complete compliance documentation and meets EN 71, CE, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, EMC and LVD requirements.

Toy safety (EN 71). The most important certification, it confirms EDUstick® is fully safe for student use and meets the rigorous requirements for children's products.

Health and environment (REACH, RoHS, WEEE). Free from harmful chemicals and friendly to the planet.

Technical reliability (EMC, LVD). Full electrical safety and stable operation, no interference with other classroom equipment.

Intelligent protection. The parental lock limits heating to 90 °C, while without it the pen works up to 230 °C. Overheating and overload protection extend equipment life.

Auto-sleep. The device enters sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity, peace of mind during group activities.

Housing temperature control. Advanced construction prevents outer parts from overheating.

Robust construction. Drop-tested to 1000 mm, over 100 N pressure resistance confirmed.

What it builds

The grip first of all. A 3D pen is held like a pencil, so the hand trains for handwriting while the child thinks it is only drawing.

Then spatial imagination. Height, depth and balance become something a pupil has held, not something a textbook claims.

And the range grows with the child, from flat shapes to cross-sections and working models, on the same device across several school years.

Care and cleaning

Every pen cools down before it goes back on the shelf, and cables come out when the lesson ends.

Housings take a dry cloth. No part of a pen goes into water.

Changing material? Push the last of the old filament through first, at the temperature that filament wants. The next colour then comes out clean.

Keep spools dry and out of direct sun. One routine for the whole group is what brings the devices back in the state they left in.
