A home for the pen you already own

A 3D pen rarely travels alone. There is a cable, there is filament, and there are the small parts that go missing first. The Case keeps them together, so the pen that went home on Friday comes back on Monday complete.

What ships is the case shown in the gallery, empty. The pen, the cable and the filament in the photos are there to show what the case is built around, and are ordered separately.

What it is

An organised case, not a sleeve

  • EVA hard shell. A rigid shell under a woven Oxford cover, so the knocks of a school bag land on the case instead of on the pen.
  • Four elastic loops in the base. The pen and its cable stay where they were put instead of sliding around inside.
  • A zipped mesh pocket in the lid. Filament and flat parts travel separately from the pen and stay in sight.
  • A zip around three sides. The case opens flat like a book, so it can be filled on a desk without balancing anything.
  • Soft-touch lining. Nothing rubs, and the shell wipes clean with a slightly damp cloth.
  • Two colorways. Blue/Lime and Purple/Orange, matched to the EDUstick® pens, with the logo embossed on the lid.

Made for the EDUstick® pen

The interior is shaped around one EDUstick® 3D pen. The pen is the same device in every EDUstick® set, SOLO and Co-LAB, blue and purple, so a case bought for one pen fits the next one too.

The elastic loops in the base hold the pen and the things that travel with it. The zipped mesh pocket in the lid takes the flat parts. The gallery shows the case packed, so what fits is visible rather than described.

How to pack it

Open the case flat. It opens like a book, so nothing has to be balanced while it is being filled.

Slide the pen and the cable under the elastic loops in the base, so they stay where they were put.

Flat parts go into the zipped mesh pocket in the lid. Close the zip and the whole kit travels as one object.

Who it is for

This is for a pen that already exists. Buy it when the pen, the cable and the filament live in three different drawers, or when the pen travels between home and school and arrives loose in a bag.

Care
