TL;DR
The bridge between PLA and ABS — tougher than PLA, easier than ABS, water-resistant, no fumes. 12 variants including matte and transparent. 1 kg spool, 1.75 mm.
Probably the best filament on the planet. If PLA is too brittle and ABS is too much hassle, PET-G is your filament. Magic Filament™ PET-G High Speed prints functional parts that survive water, UV, and impact — without enclosures, without fumes, without compromises.

Why PET-G is the maker's filament
PLA is great until it cracks. ABS is strong but a hassle — warping, fumes, enclosures. PET-G sits in the middle: noticeably tougher than PLA, prints almost as easily, no enclosure or ventilation drama. It's water-resistant, UV-resistant, chemical-resistant. Real-world parts: phone holders that survive a drop, planters that live outside, brackets for the workshop. PET-G handles all of them.
12 variants — including matte and transparent
Standard finish (9 colors): Avocado, Black, Dark Blue, Grey, Light Blue, Orange, Red, White, Yellow. Vivid, saturated, batch-consistent. Matte finish (2 colors): Matte Black, Matte White — no glare, photo-friendly. Transparent: clear PET-G for LED diffusers, lamp shades, water-clear vases and decorative light fixtures. The transparent variant is what makes PET-G special — you can't print this look in PLA or ABS.
What's in the pack
-
1 kg net weight of high-speed PET-G filament
- Standard 200 mm spool (fits all common printers)
- Color and finish of your choice (see variants above)
- Vacuum-sealed with desiccant for moisture protection
- Recyclable cardboard packaging
Recommended print settings
-
Nozzle temperature: 220–245 °C
-
Bed temperature: 70–85 °C
-
Print speed: 50–250 mm/s
-
Cooling fan: 30–60% (less than PLA, more than ABS)
-
Retraction: 1–2 mm (direct drive), 4–6 mm (bowden) — PET-G strings more than PLA
-
Bed adhesion: use thin glue stick layer or PEI sheet — PET-G can stick too well to glass
-
First layer: slow and warm (220 °C, 25 mm/s) for best adhesion
-
Drying (if humid): 65 °C for 4 hours
Pro tip: PET-G's stringing reputation is fixable — raise retraction speed, dry the filament, slow your travel moves. Once dialed in, PET-G prints almost like PLA.

For whom
-
Outdoor part makers — garden tools, planter holders, mailbox parts, anything that lives outside
-
LED and lighting designers — the transparent variant diffuses LEDs beautifully without yellowing over time
-
Workshop and DIY engineers — brackets, jigs, holders that survive shop chemicals and accidental drops
-
Phone accessory makers — stands and cases that flex instead of cracking
-
Hobbyists tired of PLA breaking — same ease of use, real-world durability
-
Anyone without an enclosed printer who still needs functional, durable parts
