EDUstick® Silicone Mat gives a 3D pen the one thing a kitchen table cannot: a working surface that warm filament comes off again. Draw the flat parts on the mat, let them cool, lift them away, and the furniture underneath is exactly as you found it.

Why buy one

A working surface for the pen you already own

A 3D pen draws in the air, but most of the work starts flat. Outlines, panels, letters and the parts that get joined later are all drawn on a surface first, and a bare desk is the wrong surface: warm filament grips it, and getting the work off again takes a scrape and a bad mood.

The mat is what fixes that. It goes down where the pen is used, it takes the drawing, and the table underneath stops being part of the project. In Poland free delivery starts at 399 zł, so a mat is usually the item that completes an order rather than one that needs a parcel of its own.

What it is

A drawing surface, not a place mat

  • Silicone. Warm filament rests on the surface instead of bonding to it, so a cooled part lifts off in one piece and stray strands peel away.
  • A moulded grid. Squares run across the working area, so a shape can be kept straight and to size while it is being drawn.
  • Outline shapes. Circles, diagonals and triangles are moulded into the mat and can be traced directly.
  • A scale on two edges. Centimetres up one side, inches along the other, moulded into the mat itself.
  • Wipe clean, rolls up. A slightly damp cloth clears it, and it rolls away flat when the table is needed for something else.
  • Two colorways. Blue/Lime and Purple/Orange, matched to the EDUstick® pens, with the logo on the mat.

Made to work with the EDUstick® 3D pen

Most 3D pen work starts flat. Outlines, panels, letters and the parts that get joined later are all drawn on a surface first, and that surface decides how the session goes.

The mat is that surface. The working area carries a square grid moulded into the silicone, a set of outline shapes (circles, diagonals, triangles) that can be traced directly, and a scale along two edges: centimetres up one side, inches along the other.

How to use it

Lay the mat flat where the pen will be used. It becomes the working area, and the table underneath stops being part of the project.

Draw flat parts straight onto the surface, over the grid or over one of the moulded shapes.

Let the part cool for a moment, then lift it off in one piece and join it to the rest of the build.

Wipe the surface down at the end and roll the mat up.

Care

Wipe the mat with a slightly damp cloth. Stray filament ends peel off the surface instead of staying stuck to it.

Let a finished part cool before lifting it off, so it keeps the shape it was drawn to.

Store it flat or rolled up. Keep blades and sharp points away from it, because that is what damages a silicone surface.
